How We Research Our Battery Guides
Our battery guides are written from three decades of hands-on experience selling and fitting batteries on Multan Road, Lahore. They are reviewed by Muhammad Ahmad, the shop's owner, grounded in real fitment and failure patterns we see every week, and updated as prices and products change.
Who writes and reviews the guides
Every guide is reviewed and bylined by Muhammad Ahmad, who has run Ashraf Battery Service since taking over from his father, and grew up in the business his father founded in 1992. The advice reflects what we actually recommend across the counter, not a generic template.
How we handle facts and figures
- Fitment and capacity — based on the batteries we fit to these cars every day. We always tell you to confirm against the code on your own battery.
- Lifespan and behaviour — based on the failure patterns we see in Lahore's climate, and on established lead-acid battery principles.
- Prices — we do not publish fixed price lists, because battery prices move with the lead market and the rupee and a fixed list dates within weeks. We give indicative ranges, clearly labelled as such, and ask you to confirm the current rate with us for your exact size.
- We do not invent numbers. Where a figure genuinely varies or we are not certain, the guide says so rather than presenting a false precision.
How often guides are updated
Price guides are reviewed monthly and the "last updated" date reflects the last genuine review. Other guides are updated when a product, a common car, or the advice itself changes.
