Compatibility checklist before you buy
- Voltage match — the bank must match the inverter (12V / 24V / 48V). Most hybrid inverters are 48V.
- Lithium and the BMS — for a lithium bank, the inverter must communicate with the battery's BMS or at least allow a lithium charge profile. Not all do. Confirm your exact inverter model first.
- Charge current — the inverter's charger should be able to fill the bank within the solar day.
- Warranty terms — read whether it is stated in years, cycles or both, whether it is full replacement or pro-rata, and who honours it in Pakistan.
Placement and care
Heat is the biggest enemy of any battery bank.
